A note from up North

The remote island of Fair Isle has played host to one member of the Cardiff Bird Ringers over the last couple of weeks. Many returning northern wheatears have been successfully counted in that time. 48 new Wheatear pulli have also been ringed thus far, with many more plucky volunteers waiting for their bling.
